Subject: Revision of Data of Exports and Imports for 2005-06.

Taking into account the adjustments for late receipts of daily trade returns (DTRs) and corrections due to further scrutiny of DTRs, the export and import figures for the period April-March, 2005-2006 have been revised by the DGCI&S. The revised figures for 2005-06 are given below:

Non-oil imports during April- March, 2007 were valued at US $ 124097.15 million which was 17.93% higher than the level of such imports valued at US $ 105232.66 million in April- March, 2006.
